New Facial Peel
The doctors and aestheticians at the MediSpa work together to come up with treatments to give clients the best results when it comes to skin care and anti-aging.
“We have medical-grade facials and peels that are more corrective and penetrate into the lower levels of your skin to actually change your cellular structure and get real results,” says Brittany Ballachino, a medical aesthetician in the Medina office.
The newest skin-care treatment is the BioRePeel. BioRePeel improves the skin surface, imperfections and accelerates cell turnover, stimulating the reconstruction of collagen and elastin deep within the skin layer. Results can be seen instantly and will continue to improve over the following weeks.
Teresa joined SCS Elite MediSpa three years ago after owning her own spa down south.
“With the BioRePeel, you will walk out with a red-carpet glow—making it an ideal treatment for special events,” she says. “A new frontier of aesthetic peeling, it exfoliates, hydrates and regenerates skin, revealing a youthful glow the day you get it. Over the long-term it helps diminish wrinkles and improves tone and texture.”
Another result-oriented skin care treatment is the Rezenerate NanoFacial, which creates micro-injuries to trigger the skin to produce its own collagen.
“We use nanotechnology to temporarily create micro-channels in the skin’s surface, allowing nutrients in our products to deeply penetrate the dermal layer where collagen production is stimulated,” says Sofie, who worked at the world-renowned Hilton Head Health wellness center in South Carolina before moving back to her hometown.
“This facial will plump and hydrate your skin,” she says. “It also helps diminish blemishes, acne scarring and fine lines, as well as age spots and uneven skin tone.”
Always offering leading-edge treatments, the MediSpa is one of the few places in town that offer intravenous vitamin (IV) Therapy.
IV therapy has myriad benefits, both boosting the immune system and beautifying the skin, hair and nails.
From easing cold symptoms, to helping pre- and post-surgery, to combating stress, the vitamins and minerals help reduce inflammation and improve energy.
Compared to oral intake of fluids and vitamins, intravenous fluids are rapidly absorbed—rehydrating and replenishing the body of depleted vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. Vitamins included in the therapy are magnesium, calcium, B12, B-complex, high-dose vitamin C, zinc and glutathione.
“You can’t ingest enough vitamins to get the same benefits of IV therapy, as the vitamins and minerals go right into your bloodstream,” says Nadine Bigham, a certified nurse practitioner. “And the treatment takes less than one hour.”
IV therapy also can give you healthier hair, stronger nails and improved skin with a powerful combination of vitamins (B-complex, vitamin C, biotin and alpha lipoic acid) specifically targeted to reduce inflammation and promote healthy hair and skin.
“IV Therapy using a combination of vitamins can help reverse oxidative damage and signs of aging,” notes Nadine.
